Radical Faith

Today I want to talk to you about Radical Faith! Faith is confidence in God and radical means thorough and far-reaching. So our goal as Christian women is to have thorough confidence in God. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him." Faith is not easy. It means putting your own feelings aside and resisting doubt. God tells us if we have faith the size of a tiny little mustard seed, He will move! Faith moves God to do miraculous things! Miracles! Healing! Answers!

Sometimes when turmoil and crisis hit, the first thing we usually do, is stress out. The second thing we usually do is try to figure out how to fix things. This is where we hit a snag. Figuring things out on our own, leaves God out of the equation. God is waiting for us to call on Him to fix whatever the situation is. In my circle of friends, I know someone grieving over her son's heroin addiction. I know of a man that his wife left him for a woman. I know someone whose daughter committed suicide. People are struggling to keep a roof over their heads or are without a job. I know many women fighting for their life from cancer. In my own life, my Father-in-Law died last weekend. It was sad in a different way because he did a lot of unspeakable damage to our family. These are HUGE life altering situations. That's why we NEED God's power in our lives as never before! God can turn it all around in a second! That's where your faith becomes a major necessity! When we don't see the answers or it seems impossible for things to turn around... God shows up. But we have to ask and we have to believe.

Here is my prayer for you, straight from Ephesians 3:16-17. "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through FAITH. And I pray that you will be rooted and established in love." Faith. RADICAL FAITH!
